The History of Brubaker Farms

1929

Elam Brubaker buys the home farm.

Luke's father, Elam, bought the home farm and started milking cows.

1960

Luke Buys 18 Cows

Luke purchases 18 cows from his father as his own.

1970

Brubaker Brothers

Luke and his brother, Jim, buy the family farm and go into business together.

1994

Brubaker Farms

Luke goes into business with his sons, Mike and Tony. They build a new dairy parlor for their 400-cow herd.

2014

Dairy Two

Brubaker Farms expands its dairy herd from 800 to 1300 by purchasing a neighboring farm and building a second milking parlor.

2020

Four Generations

Upon graduating from Penn State, Mike's son, Josh, buys into the family farms as co-owner.
